Find A Diet That Works For You + Your Body

The face I make when someone says they're doing keto because they're favorite celebrity is doing keto and they lost weight. 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄 (See the picture below)


You guys know that part in Mean Girls when Regina George starts wearing cargo pants & flip flops, at everyone else starts wearing cargo pants & flip flops? Even though it may not be their style?




Just because a style of eating works for one person & they're able to maintain a healthy body weight doing so, doesn't particularly mean that diet will work for you.


But why?

➖ Different genetics

➖ Different workout styles

➖ Different career environments

➖ Different body types

➖ Different cultures

➖ Different goals


Does that mean that I don't think you should ever try one of the fad diets? (Ex. Keto, paleo, whole 30, low carb, weight watchers, intermittent fasting)


No, not really. If you want to try them go for it.


BUT, the reason why I personally won't support them is because they don't teach you how to fuel your body in a sustainable way for long term success. (You can't not eat cookies forever 🤦🏼‍♀️)


They only teach you to eat in that specific & limited way. Not only that, but then the mindset of being "on" or "off" the diet exists where you're either "good" or "bad".


The point being👉🏻 You don't have to do keto because everyone else is doing keto.

& You can still lose weight while enjoying the foods you love in moderation.
